Healthy is a personal wellness and self-tracking tool. It does
not diagnose conditions and does not
provide medical advice. Anything it shows you, including any "signals,"
patterns, or summaries, is informational only and is not
a diagnosis. Always talk to a qualified healthcare professional about your
health, and if you think you may have a medical emergency, call your
doctor or your local emergency number right away.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Healthy
("Healthy", "we", "us") collects, why we collect it, how it is stored,
and the choices you have. Healthy is operated by Arman Chatikyan.
By using the app you agree to this policy and to the use of the app as
described below.
1. Healthy is not medical advice
Because your health matters, please read this section carefully.
Not medical advice. Healthy does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for professional medical care. Nothing in the app is a clinical opinion.
Signals, not a diagnosis. Any insights, patterns, summaries, or "signals" you see are informational observations generated from the data you enter. They are not a diagnosis or a medical assessment, and they do not confirm or rule out any condition. They may be incomplete or wrong.
Not a medical device. Healthy is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, monitor, or prevent any disease or health condition, and is not a regulated medical device.
Automated and AI features have limits. Some features use automated and AI systems to read your documents and interpret what you write. These can make mistakes, miss information, or misread values. Do not rely on them for any health or treatment decision.
Always consult a professional. Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified health provider with any question you have about your health. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you saw in Healthy.
Emergencies. Healthy is not for emergencies. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your doctor or your local emergency number immediately.
No provider relationship. Using Healthy does not create a doctor-patient or any other professional relationship between you and us.
Your responsibility. You use Healthy, and rely on any information in it, at your own discretion and risk.
The short version
Healthy helps you track your own health. It does not diagnose you.
Your health data lives in your own private account and is never sold.
Symptom chats and lab documents are processed by AI only to generate your results.
Data is stored on Google Firebase servers in the European Union.
You can permanently delete your account and all your data from inside the app.
2. Who we are
Healthy is operated by Arman Chatikyan, an individual sole trader based in
the Republic of Armenia, who is the data controller for the personal data
described in this policy. Contact details are in the Contact section below.
3. Information we collect
We collect only what the app needs to work for you.
Account and identity
Your email address and a unique account identifier, through Firebase Authentication (for example, Google sign-in).
Health profile
Details you enter yourself: display name, date of birth, biological sex, height, weight, and family medical history.
Health activity
Symptoms and daily check-ins you log, including the messages you send to the in-app assistant.
Lab and medical documents you upload to the Vault, and the values read from them.
Doctor visits and reminders you create.
Health patterns and signals the service generates from the data above.
Subscription status. If you buy Healthy Pro, Google Play handles the payment. We never see your card or bank details. We store only the purchase identifier Play gives us and whether your subscription is active, so the app knows what to unlock.
Exploring without an account. If you try the app without signing in, the same health data is stored against a temporary anonymous account until you sign in or delete it. Anything you type to the in-app assistant while exploring is sent to our AI provider in the same way it is for a signed-in user. If you later sign in with Google, that temporary account becomes your account and everything you logged is kept.
Feedback
If you send feedback, your message plus basic context (app version, operating system, device model, and language) so we can understand and fix issues.
Device and technical
App version, operating system, device model, and language.
A push-notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) so your reminders and alerts can reach your device.
Diagnostic logs used to keep the app working.
A device identifier, only while exploring without an account. Android gives each app a device-specific identifier (ANDROID_ID). We use it for one purpose: limiting how many assistant messages a single device can send per day without an account, so the feature cannot be abused. It is sent to our servers, stored only as an irreversible hash, never linked to your name or email, and never used for advertising or analytics. Once you sign in it is no longer used.
Crash reports and performance data (Firebase Crashlytics), so we can fix crashes.
Usage analytics (Firebase Analytics) about which screens and features are used. This is off unless you turn it on, and it never includes your symptoms, documents, or lab values.
4. How we use your information
To provide the core features: logging symptoms, tracking them over time, organizing your documents, and surfacing informational patterns and signals.
To interpret your symptom messages and read values from the documents you upload.
To prevent abuse of the features available without an account. Our lawful basis for this is our legitimate interest in keeping a free feature available and affordable.
To send the reminders and notifications you set up.
To respond to your feedback and fix problems.
To keep the service secure and reliable.
We use your information to help you organize and observe your own health
data. We do not use it to diagnose you or to make medical decisions for you.
5. Our legal basis for using your data
Health data is a special category of personal data under the GDPR, so we
set out our basis for each use:
Your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) and Art. 9(2)(a)) for
everything health related: the symptoms and messages you log, the documents
you upload, the values read from them, and the patterns generated from them.
You give this consent when you accept this policy and choose to enter health
data. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account, which stops
that processing for the future.
Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) for running your
account, your subscription, and the reminders you ask for.
Our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for keeping the
service secure, preventing abuse, and fixing faults.
You do not have to give health data to use Healthy, but the app cannot do
anything useful without it.
6. AI processing
To turn your symptom messages and uploaded documents into useful results,
the relevant content is sent to Google's Gemini AI models through our
secure backend (Firebase Cloud Functions). This happens only to generate
your results. We do not use your health data to train our
own AI models. Google processes this content as our service provider under
its applicable terms.
As noted above, AI output is informational only and can be inaccurate.
7. Automated processing and patterns
Healthy generates patterns automatically, without a human reviewing them.
They are informational observations about data you entered. They are
not a decision that produces a legal or similarly significant
effect on you within the meaning of Art. 22 of the GDPR: they do not decide
anything about you, grant or withhold anything, and are visible only to you.
You can turn the feature off for your account by contacting us, and you can
delete the generated patterns by deleting your account.
8. Where your data is stored
Your data is stored and processed using Google Firebase and Google Cloud
services (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions,
and Cloud Messaging) on servers in the European Union
(region europe-west1).
9. International transfers
Your data is stored and processed in the European Union (region
europe-west1). We operate the service from Armenia, which is
outside the European Economic Area and is not covered by a European
Commission adequacy decision, so administering the service involves access to
your data from Armenia. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards
or, where none applies, on your explicit consent under Art. 49(1)(a) of the
GDPR. Google may also process limited data outside the EU as our provider,
under its own transfer safeguards.
10. Sharing and third parties
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
Google (Firebase and Google Cloud), our infrastructure and AI provider, acting as our processor.
Authorities, if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
11. Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can permanently
delete your account at any time from Account, then Delete account.
This erases your profile, symptoms, documents, visits, and related data
from our systems. You may also contact us to request deletion.
12. Security
Access to your data is restricted to your authenticated account by
server-side security rules, and data is encrypted in transit and at rest
by our infrastructure provider. No system is perfectly secure, but we work
to protect your information.
13. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the EU and UK GDPR, you may
have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data,
and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights,
use the in-app controls or contact us below.
14. Children
Healthy is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly
collect their data.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last
updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
